Mine is on order with Sigma... delivery is supposed to be the very end August... although my 800 went back yesterday to get repaired... so there is no rush :-)

@ spasypaddy : I have a very similar issue with my carbon (PX) stem. I had to use two bands linked in a loop to stretch, and even then the bands were stretched too much and lost their tension.

Looking forward to getting my 800 back as well as the K-Edge mount. Really surprised Garmin haven't produced a mount as the position when mounted on the stem is far from ideal... but you do obviously live with it

It's been mounted on the bars since switching stems.... but the road vibration causes it to move around (either up or down)

Why not just mount it on the stem its long enough!
its not great on there, the rubber bands always give me the impression they are about to burst

Done 3000 miles on a MTB with them and still fine!
have you seen the size of my stem!?

the bands were stretched to breaking point, they were showing signs of wear.

Bit of araldite on that would have worked a treart

Any UK sellers who have any left in stock ?

Ordered mine on 22nd July from Sigma Sport, I've just been informed by Sigma that they're not getting stock until 30th August. I'd be suprised if anywhere else has got them.

Matt - I ordered mine on 21st July and have been waiting patiently until I got this email today

    Hello Ant,

You are in luck, we had a returned (failed delivery and no reply) black k edge mount come in today. I have grabbed it and sent it out in the post today for you.

    Well chuffed.

    Still not got mine

My point is - how difficult it seems to get these things!! Seems strange that this is a mount that everyone is looking for, but cannot get!

    It's arrived !!!

Was a bit concerned that it might be a little angular, but once on the bike it looks fantastic. I'm as happy as a pig in sh*t !!!

Ordered it from Sigma. I kept on at them as I ordered it in mid July. Every time I got an email stating a delivery date, and it didn't arrive, I chased them. I got an email on Monday saying that they were expecting to receive a few on Tuesday and would ship mine s soon as it arrived with them.

To be fair, I dont think it's Sigma's fault, they can't ship if they've not received them, and they an only pass on the information that they've been given.

  • Mine is delayed until '1st October' - but I did order it not as long ago as others. I also have to say that Sigma S have been the best company with regards to keeping myself informed of the status, with the offer to cancel.

There is not much point in cancelling, as looking around all other sites are stating the same!

  • Just a heads up for anyone wanting to order a design cycles mount, I got mine today and got stung for customs tax on it, which was £12. so a chunk more expensive the k edge mounts.

Not overly impressed with the product itself for the money either to be quite honest, i'm sure it works fine and once its fitted will look ok, but its a weird finish on it, and it was marked before i even took it out the box which doesnt bode well.... :(

never mind, will do for the time being until k edge mounts / garmins own are flooding the market and have been discounted a bit.
