Canyon nerve xc size medium or large

Confused ...you bet. At 5ft 11 I normally ride a 19 inch rockhopper. Had a 19 inch stumpejumper before and that felt long. Canyon say I am between medium and large but recommend a medium. I don't like my bikes to be too small so think I need the large but this goes against what others say on the web. Any ideas?

compare the geometry of your hopper to the relevant sizes of the nerve, see which comes closestSpecialized Hardrock Sport Disc 10- CANYON Nerve AM 6 20110

I am 6ft and have a Medium (18.5) Nerve AM, before that had a medium (17.5) Stumpjumper FSR. I like my bikes small so I have plenty of standover. Definitely would not want a taller bike but longer would be good as I ended up swapping the stock 70mm stem for a 90mm to get more reach. If you know you don't like your bikes small then I say go for the large. I love the bike but just wish they were a bit longer for each height and WMB seemed to say the same thing in the review last summer.0

6ft. Medium. Perfect. For me, anyway.0

This is why I won't buy a bike I can't try for size.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

They'll let you send it back if it doesn't fit.
At 5'10" with a relatively short inside leg it came up with a small for me. I e-mailed Canyon and they agreed a medium would be better, and it is. I may get a slightly shorter stem in a few months, but only 20mm or so.
OP where do you live/ride? You can have a sit on mine if you are local.0 -
P.s. it's an AM, not an XC, but the sizing system came up with the same for me on both.0
