So you asked for advice on which bike to buy, you got an answer.
Why ask the same question again? To the same forum? I don't understand.
For £300, the RR is the closest you will get to a 'wonder bike'0 -

Just making sure, times are tight. You dont have to participate. But everyone has bought spmething that they then hear that there may have been something else around the corner. The guy on the last thread was ace but just wanted to make sure that this was bang for buck! No offence meant0

Nope. Rockrider.
Edit: sorry, bit blunt. The Rockrider has a better drivetrain and better brakes. The fork on the Trek looks shocking (pun intended) and more importantly the RR is 9 speed, making upgrades/repairs a lot easier with much more choice. I challenge you to find any half decent modern MTB which has 7 speed components.0 -

Stick with the Rock rider or have a look at the Voodoo range but maybe just out of your price bracket.0 -
Ace cheers for that, one more question, im 6,4, shall i go for XL? Stupid question probably. :?:0

Go and sit on one at a Decathlon store. Can't say what you will prefer without you trying it. I would ask to try an L or XL. Ring them first, if they don't have one in stock they will order one for you to try and call you when it's ready.0

Not even close to the RockRider. Forget it
Either buy the Rock Rider or spend more money to get something better.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

I hope not...0 -
