Bought a new pair of wellgo flats and can't believe how much grip I have. Now thinking of getting a pair of MTB shoes. I read about five tens but they're expensive as. Do decathalon or anywhere do a cheapo copy or something half decent?

I bought some Donnay Adidas superstar rip offs from sports direct this week for £9, using them with DMR V8s and there's more than enough grip. Maybe a smidge too much cuz if I try and shuffle my feet on the pedals they tend to roll a bit.
Also because they're cheap the soles are a bit stiffer than normal trainers, and the superstar design is good because the rubber toe box is a bit strudier than normal trainers.
