2010 Avid Elixir...or are they?

So I still have the standard brakes on my rockhopper. They're advertised as Elixir 4, and the lever is Elixir 4, but I've just bought some Elixir pads from Superstar and they're different to the one's in there. They look like Juicy pads.
This is the first time I've bought new pads, they've been done during a service before.
Is this common practice? Bit of a swizz if that's the case..

Fortunately SS are good with returns.
Weren't Juicy 4's Elixir levers and Juicy calipers?I don't do smileys.

Spesh also did the Juicy Ultimate Mag SL, which was Juicy Ultimate levers with Elixir calipers, I have a pair in my spares box.0
