advice needed ( shifter query)

Hi guys,

Converting my road bike to flat bar style ( back issues) and i'm wondering if any one can tell me if mountain bike shifters will work with my 10 speed 105 gears?

Xt or Slx are a cheaper option if they will work, so all advice is needed.

no is the short answer. Different pull ratios/

i use deore mtb shifters with 105 10 speed r mech and 12/25 cassette

works perfectly

You can get flat bar shifters for 10-speed road cassettes, e.g. these Tiagra units.
