norco nitro 6.2 seat clamp sizing

I snapped the bolt on the seat clamp halfway around Laggan red, dropping and lowering the seat post, and have found it pretty impossible to find a replacement, i ordered what appeared to be the right size from CRC but it was way too big, ive now ordered other sizes, which has become a long winded game of trial and error.
Ive been around LBS, very few actually stock seat clamps due to the unlimited sizing i suppose, and even less have calipers for measuring the old clamp to get a reliable size, and after a vast online search i cant find the correct size from either Evans, where i got the bike or Norco themselves.
Can anyone on here advise me in this, i was hoping to go biking today, but unless i can find a new clamp at a LBS (unlikely) its not gona happen.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this elusive seat clamp size.
