Trails in Northumberland?
Hi all,
Going camping with the other half in Northumberland this weekend and just wondering if anyone knows any good trails round there for a relative newbie? I could probably cope with intermediate stuff though.
We're staying at a place called Budle Bay near Belford, North Sunderland and Holy Island. Postcode is NE70 7EE.
Rides that I could access without driving would be nice but can drive further afield if necessary!
Hope this area isn't too niche for you lot to help,
Alex

You could drive to kielder or glentress , or there is lots of natural riding in the cheviots particularly around Rothbury .. However I cannot help with local stuff, sorry0

Some decent routes around there in Ted Liddle's book, a couple actually start from Belford as I recall.
Not much help to you for this weekend I admit. You could try contacting Ted directly (contact details on the IMBA website).
Sorry link didn't work - here it is:-
