My new specialized crosstrail comp.really chuffed to bits with it, a lovely looking price of kit.only thing is I'm very much a novice when it comes to bikes.iv got myself a new helmet,pump,toolkit and puncture repair kit can anybody help out with anything else I would need before I go out and end up stranded miles from home????

    take a spare inner tune to save fixing punctures by the side of the road. you can fix them when you get home.

    Never thought about an inner tube,thanks. I'm looking into lights at the moment any info on the best ones to buy???

    got the exact same bike 2 weeks ago, and a bit of a novice myself.
    I've racked up just over 200 miles on it so far, and loving everything about it .....except the sore a*se I get after 20-odd miles in the saddle !
