Specialized stem shims

So i bought a spesh stem from a parts bin in a bike store.
It's only when i got home and tried to fit it that i realised it didn't come with a stem shim.
So, now i can't fit it to anything.
I only got it to try out a different stem length as well, so i don't really want to spend much more.
Does anyone know where i can get some spesh stem shims without having to pay 10 quid postage to get them from the states?
Cheers

Do you mean a shim to fit a narrower bar in it? Try SJS cycles. Or people have bodged them from coke cans - but that's not recommended for thin-walled alu bars or carbon bars.Cannondale Synapse 105, Giant Defy 3, Giant Omnium, Giant Trance X2, EMC R1.0, Ridgeback Platinum, On One Il Pompino...0

Go to a Concept store. They always have bags of spare bits and bobs and helped me out in the past.0

Nah, Spesh stems have 1.5 inch diameter steerer clamping holes.
They are made wider to fit in different shims which allows the user to adjust the angle of the stem.
With the shims the steerer clamp diameter then becomes 1&1/8 inches.
What the shims look like:

Would a spesh dealer have some spare u recon?
Thanks0
