Recommendations guys?
I've got Gussett Slim-Jims on there at the moment, and they've been fantastic. Not too fussed about weight, but want grip and VFM! Has anyone tried the NC-17 CR44 flats?

Reviews say as good as metal pins, lighter & a darn sight cheaper!!

Plastic pedals are lethal when wet.
The standard answer for function and value is Superstar Nanos or the Carboncycles/Exotic ones (they're both the same pedal with different branding, and slightly different prices).0 -
That was my assumption, but the reviews on CRC say that the NC-17's are not slippery when wet?!
Was hoping for some here who have tried before I buy!0 -
Plastic pedals without metals pins will 100% be slippery when wet.
100%.0 -
Ok, so plastic may be out of the window then!
Next best? MG-1? More Slim-Jims? A.N.Other...?0 -

Or MG-1s, which imo aren't quite as good, but can probably be found slightly cheaper on ebay.0 -

Those plastic pedals are as bad as they get. Even the ones with the metal pin strips are bloody awful!0

MG1s here - nothing bad to say about them, but its one of those things where everyone has a preference.0

I had Slim jims (still on the wifes bike) and replaced them with Superstar Nano's. The Nano's are much more grippy.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Supposed to be light and cheap, and surprisingly tough. BMXers use them a lot, but few companies of jumped on the band waggon and are knocking them out at daft prices.0 -
