Have a groupset looking for a home and would like a TT bike now to compliment my Road Racing.

Noticed there is a pretty big discount on the 2012 E-112 frames at the moment. Is this just end of season sell off or have there been issues with this frameset?

I have a 2010 E112 frameset and have owned it for 2 years. No problems whatsoever, not sure about how they differ from the newer version - possibly the usual Argon 18 laziness of a quick paint change???

They are fabulous frames and the build quality is spot on.

Traditionally Argons do get heavily discounted, I don't think this is a reflection of the quality of the frames, more so that they don't sell as well as say the Cervelo equivilent so there's plenty of stock left over at the season/year. Even with extremely positive reviews for the entire range, they continue to be quite a rare site. That's something I quite like about owning one.

    I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Giantmike seems to know quite a bit about Argons so I'm sure if he sees this he will be able to advise further/correct me.

Looks like the newer E112 benefits (?) from the tech/features being used on the (older) E114 models - the 3D tube and the use of a different carbon composite.

May be worth checking reviews of the 2010/2011 E114 framesets. With the introduction of the E116 and E118, I dare say the features have filtered down from the E114 > E112 . Similar to this years 105 being compared to Ultegra from 1-2 years ago.
