Hi All,
Got my first new MB in 15 years, so has lots of cool toys like disc brakes Have ridden a mates bike with Formula (RX I think) brakes and nearly killed myself. I have Elixir 7's and have followed the bedding in procedure. I dont like how far I have to pull the lever (over half way of the total lever range) before the pad engages. Having consulted the manual, the next model up has an adjuster for this, but mine does not.
Is this normal? Or is it likely they have not been bled correctly at build time?
Thanks very much.

yours should have a reach adjuster. just about every brake lever assy from cantis on have a reach adjust.

Yeah it has reach adjust which I played about with, but the travel before engagement still seems excessive (compared with my old v-brakes).0
