Has anybody heard anything about Woodworm bikes?
I'm looking to get a racing bike but can't afford to spend much. I've tried to look into second hand ones but without much success.
Any advice on where to find a decent second hand racing bike?

Looks cheap and nasty to me.....
Try Decathlon, the Triban series seems very popular ATM, failing that, wait till the weather turns bad, I am sure there will be an avalanche of bikes on ebay0 -

Thanks for the advice.
I've been looking at the Triban bikes today and they look decent. My dilemma is that I would ideally not want to spend more than £300 as I'd still consider my mountain bike to be my main interest, however, if spending up to £150 would make a massive difference I would consider it. If not though, the Triban looks good to me.
What do you think of the following?

Wouldn't pay that much for the Dawes. It's got a steel fork and weighs nearly as much as my bike (which was £200).
The Giant is a very 'comfort' orientated bike, and isn't designed as a racer (I've literally just come back from a ride using someone's Defy 2, and I don't like it much. It's really lightweight, which is nice on the hills, but it's not very fast).
Trek looks like overpriced, paying for the name stuff.
I would recommend the Decathlon if your budget can stretch that far. I've heard really good things about it and as far as I'm aware it's the only cheap bike with a carbon fork.
