I used them on my last bike and I was very happy with them. Currently using ultegra 6700 brakes and I'd say the braking is marginally better, but hard to say as it's on a different bike with different wheels etc. It is true what most people say about setting them up, takes a bit longer than usual and a bit of a faff, but really in the big scheme of things it's nothing that'd put me off buying them. In fact I've just ordered their cnc brakes - as you say great weight at a great price.

Braking will be marginally worse with 6700 or 7900 levers as the cable pull ratio is 1:3 on the PX calipers and 1:4 on the levers. It just means you need to pull the levers further towards the bars to get the same braking force.
