You realise you go to the local pub too much when the kids have as many friends there as you do! Bright side means their happy till late, meaning increase drinking time.

Today is some study, family time and maybe a run/ride

I'm watching people cycle round on rusty old bikes, thinking they're Bradley Wiggins  I like how people are inspired, but I imagine most people will set off to be the next Bradley or Chris Hoy, get about a mile, and think 'sod this'
My wrist is giving me a bit of grief today, but I'm sure I'll survive. I'll keep watching this marathon I suppose.

    Laters!

  • Quite glad I didn't go for a ride today after all. It's just let rip with a massive thunder storm. Poor show.

Afternoon, hangover is still in effect and I think I'm going to sleep off my Sunday lunch on the sofa.

Just got back from a 25mile cross country loop myself and a mate threw together taking in a good few of the local bridleways.
Thought it would make a pleasant change to ride from the house taking in some of the scenery and a country pub halfway round, however..
My legs feel like their on fire at the minute from riding through what seemed a mile long curtain of nettles, then to top it off I had a front wheel washout about 100yds from my house (on a nice smooth cycle path of all places!) so sporting a nice big graze down my leg and arm, I think I'm safer down at cannock chase!

Still, all in all have had a great day helped by the fact the rain always seemed to be just behind me, Iv'e cracked open a beer and just about to tuck into a roast pork dinner so tarrah for now!
Trek Fuel EX8 Rootbeer, mmm beer!
