So I finally got my 3T upgrades for my SuperSix!
Upgrades from the stock bike include:
Bars: 3T Ergonova Team (44cm - Stealth)
Stem: 3T Arx Team (100mm - 6 degree - Stealth)
Seatpost: 3T Doric LTD (350mm)
Saddle: Fizik Kurve Chameleon
Skewers: Superlight Titanium Skewers
Tires: Michelin Pro 4 Service Course (Black - 23c)
Inner Tubes: Continental Race 28 Supersonic
Component List
Chassis & Wheels:
Frame: Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod
Forks: Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod
Headset: SuperSix EVO Carbon Headset
Bottom Bracket: FSA PressFit BB30, ceramic bearings
Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium SL
Tubes: Continental Race 28 Supersonic
Tires: Michelin Pro 4 Service Course
Skewers: Superlight Titanium Skewers
Drivetrain & Brakes:
Brakes: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Shifters: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Cables: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Front Mech: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Rear Mech: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Crank Arms: Cannondale Hollowgram SI
Chainrings: FSA
Chain: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Cassette: Shimano Dura-Ace 7900
Finishing Kit:
Bars: 3T Ergonova Team (44cm - Stealth)
Bar Tape: Lizard Skins DSP 2.5mm (Black)
Stem: 3T Arx Team (100mm - 6 degree - Stealth)
Saddle: Fizik Kurve Chameleon
Seat Post: 3T Doric LTD (350mm)
Pedals: Look Keo Blade (12 Nm)
My plans in the long run are to get some carbon tubular race wheels (ENVE 1.45, 1.65, 3.4, or 6.7), and some KCNC Cobweb chainrings (look a lot better than the current FSA ones). I might change the bottle cages to some Arundel ones, as I feel odd putting Bontrager cages on any bike other than a Trek.
If anyones got any experience with the ENVE wheels, it would be great to hear your opinion!
2015 Update
So after 3 years of pounding the pedals on my SuperSix, an unfortunate tumble last week resulted in a few scrapes (both body and bike), a mangled rear wheel, and a snapped right pedal. Frankly it was a good excuse for a wheel upgrade. It's lovely riding in Kelowna right now so I really didn't want to wait a month for a pair of wheels. One of my LBS's (Chainline Cycles - great shop and great guys!) had a pair of Easton EC90 Aero 55 Clinchers in stock.
They're a great pair of wheels, and really set the SuperSix off. They feel heavier to accelerate than the Ksyrium SL's the bike originally had, but once they're moving they really freight train. I'd strongly recommend these wheels. Having ridden a pair of Zipp 404's I really don't know why you'd spend $1k more on the Zipps.
Having also snapped a Look Keo Blade pedal in the crash, I had to find some new pedals. I really like the idea of a multi-side entry pedal, so I picked up a pair of Speedplay Zero Stainless pedals. So far i'm very happy with them, much more of an intuitive entry and exit than the Look's and significantly more adjustable too.

Very nice!
Whoever wrapped the bars has done a great job0 -
Nice bike, but it looks rather tall! The head-tube and seat tube both look way too long!
Road - Dolan Preffisio
MTB - On-One Inbred
I have no idea what's going on here.0 -
1) Nice bike, and the 3T stuff suits it nicely
2) what size frame is that- 61cm?
3) Is the seatpost within the minimum insertion recommendations. Last thing you'd want is that snapping!0 -
lovely bike and good choices for those upgrades.. but whoah that is some serious amount of seat post showing.
What was on it before and are you selling off anything?0 -
What about hollowgram chain rings to match the crank?0

Thanks! The bars look as if they are pointing down to me so I might have to redo it anyway, despite how good it is now.declan1 wrote:Nice bike, but it looks rather tall! The head-tube and seat tube both look way too long!
That's one of the main reasons I chose a Cannondale, because they had extra big sizes!joshvoulters wrote:1) Nice bike, and the 3T stuff suits it nicely

1) Thank you, I think so too.
2) It's a 63cm frame (good guess).
3) The bike shop loaned me a 280mm seat post while I'm waiting for my 350mm, and it's only a few mm away from being at its maximum extension (with minimum 100mm).JGSI wrote:lovely bike and good choices for those upgrades.. but whoah that is some serious amount of seat post showing.

Its odd you should say that, because for me that's a short to average amount of seaport showing. Normally I can only get away with 400mm seat posts.
As I traded all my old bits with my bike shop, unfortunately I do not have anything to sell.ALIHISGREAT wrote:What about hollowgram chain rings to match the crank?
Yes I thought about the hollow gram chain rings, but the Cobwebs are a bit lighter, and they look a hell of a lot better!“Don’t buy upgrades, ride up grades.”

Ah. That explains it! It's really annoying being tall isn't it?

Add me to that list too!
Annoyingly I seem to have really short arms and torso with very long legs. So while I should be riding at least a 60cm I find them very uncomfy, so I have to make do with a 58 with seat post reaching to the heavens
Lovely bike though, very jealous.0 -

Trek cages on a 'dale?
Popularity of the cages say yes, style points say no ...0 -
How are you finding the saddle BikeSwan? Thinking of changing from my Arione to a Kurve Snake. What saddle did you previously ride? Interested in your thoughts.

Cheers
I love the Kurve saddle! It's extremely comfortable. I used to rise a Fizik Arione, but I decided I liked the chameleon shape more after testing the Fizik Antares. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's quite heavy, it's 220g, when most others in this price range are hovering around 150g. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a more comfortable sadde.“Don’t buy upgrades, ride up grades.”

Which ENVE's are you riding? The 45's, 65's, etc? I've got a soft spot for ENVE since I had a pair of their Mountain wheels.“Don’t buy upgrades, ride up grades.”
