Just bought one from halfords but the suspension is far too rigid. I t was a good deal at 680 and comes with Suntour Epicon LOD, AiR, 100mm, 15mm QR Forks. I have bought an air pump but I cannot get the damn nut/gold thing off the top of the fork to use the pump. Anybody know what tool I should buy? Thanks for helping a newbie. Phoned halfords but they were useless.

Should just twist off - I was worried that you were trying to take the whole top cap off lol.
Try a pair of pliers, with a cloth wrapped around it to protect it. If that fails, I'd take it back.0 -
Should come off by hand, but wrap a bit of inner tube or something around it and use some pliers, gently.I don't do smileys.
