2011 Merida Matts 20-MD Bike

or the
Merida Matts Pro-D Bike 2011 Model 18" Only

Which one would you choose?
Even the choice of decathlon UK rock rider 8.0 if they allow for me to take advantage of their deal online at 269.99

Why start a new thread? You'll just have similar stuff repeated.

I don't know much about mtb's as I'm just starting myself but I'd say the pro seems to have the slightly better spec more gears I think and hydro brakes instead of tech so the only difference is is gears and brakes. Theres only a £50 difference probably worth it.. Did you not ring merlin to see if you could get the pro for the 250 it was a few days ago.

I emailed Merlin and they stated that offers are only at managers discretion and cannot be altered, further deals may appear and that i will have to wait like everyone else.

Sorry for all the hassle guys but apparently a 18" is going to be to small for me, is the Merida frame slighltly bigger than usual or slightly smaller, i am going to need to look for a bike for under £400 that has a 20 inch frame!

20" frames vary massively - though as Halfords is close, I'd go and take a look at that Vulcan and have a sit on it.

height doesn't dictate frame size, its your inside leg and reach that are more important
