Hi, thinking of buying a Brooks saddle and weighing up the Colt or the Swift, can you fit a small saddle pack to either of these. What do make of them an do they have to be `broken in`? Cheers for any info.

Yes, you can fit a saddle bag just like any other saddle. I own a Swift, which is just a lovely saddle... I also have a Team PRO and in the past I have owned a swallow, which was the most comfortable of all.
They are comfy from day one, but the more you ride them, the better they get... they just need some TLC in the form of Proofideleft the forum March 20230 -

My workmates have just bought me Brooks Professional for my retirement. Gave it the Proofide treatment before I used it. Now up to about 20 miles before I feel the hardness of it.I'm not getting old... I'm just using lower gears......

I had a B17 Narrow, hurt like f*ck. Comfy feeling but gave me horrific sores if used day on day (used to use for a 40 mile round trip daily commute). No idea why, I'm still willing to give the others a go one day. I think the B17 narrow and the profesional are the hardest.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
