Heres my new C59 in Nero. I'm so bl**dy chuffed that I keep finding myself escaping to the garage to gaze at it.

It's my precious !

Very nice bike. Enjoy your ride.
IMO full black tires would match your bike better.

It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.

Thanks for comments gents, chuffed to bits with the bike. I've previously had a Spesh Allez, a Carbon Litespeed and a Colnago Cristallo, all of which were to large for me and brought with a finger in the air mentality. I had a fit session when sizing the C59, and the last 100 miles have been the most comfortable on a bike so far.

I doubt that the stem is in its final position, but as the C59 is the most aggressive frame I've ridden I thought it would be best to see how I get on before cutting the steerer. The only flexibility I seem to have is in my morals !

I've seen a few other C59 frames with 17 degree stems and admit that they look the nuts but I doubt that I could go that extreme.

I'll go for some all black tyres when I have to replace the Corsa's. I am loving the retro look for the moment, as its the only colour on the bike.

    Happy days !!

    Cheers

Lovely frame, but a 12-27 aaand a compact must mean you live near some cliffs? and then deep section wheels seems to go against that, then the ti option on the chainset (well, just gone for the top one I suppose), but then tubs, but not a race bike with that gearing??... all seems a bit of an unusual combination to say the least!

And it was all going so well !

11 - 25 Super Record cassette now on the bike and I've been on the hunt for a set of Campag Hyperons for a while. The Bora's are on the bike as they are the only wheels I have at present as the Easton EC90SL's I had were sold on my old Colnago (thought it better to hang onto the Bora's).

I think that Cliff Richard lives somewhere close by, but haven't actually seen him.
