I went for a spin round the Monkey this afternoon, weather wasn't too bad, had a nice time. I thought the diversion at the top that had been sending people down a fast fireroad had been removed so at the top of the climb I went straight over instead of down to the fireroad to the left, if you've done the monkey in the last 3 months you'll know where I mean. Anyway straight over and then down to the left then following a sign pointing across the trails to the right brought me down a trail that was covered in brush & sticks & I'm figuring if the diversion had been removed this trail would've been cleared. Guess what I'm saying is, if you're going down the monkey I'd carry on down the diversion fireroad, it's a cracking fast descent anyway, fun to do. Also the guy sitting in his car at the railway tracks was on his mobile when I went past, he had his shirt off and his big fat sweaty man tits were hanging out, the things you see eh, lol.
