Rear mech help needed

Hi all could someone advise on the the difference between a short,medium and long cage on a sram rear mech x 7. I am looking to replace my x 7 on my ironhorse bootleg 1.0 but which one? many thanks

Looks long, but if you post the range of your cassette and chainrings someone can suggest what will work.

Cassette 9 speed chainring 22,32,44 hope this helps

You need long cage. Useless you've got a stupid cassette
