fork sleeving?

Hi guys.
Is it possible to raise the height of a set of bars by sleeving a fork stem and then adding spacers? The rebas on my rockhopper are well low with only one small spacer. Can anything be done or am i stuck with it? Swapping the forks is not an option really. Cheers.

You can get steerer extenders, but are not all that robust. I'd get a higher rise bar and stem.

If you need a lot of adjustment, then the bike is likely the wrong size, or shape for you.
