Dedicated time trial bike?

Hey I'm a junior rider and I currently riding a Cube GTC with 105 as my general training and racing bike. I have used this bike for time trials, simply attaching a pair of token £30 aerobars. I've thought of the idea of a dedicated time trial bike with the proper position. This would have the benefit of allowing me to train in the time trial position regularly. I have a cannondale caad3 and an old dawes imperial 531c framed bike with suntour components and a 7 speed cassette. I need to have one of these bikes as my winter bike. I'd prefer if it was the cannondale. The cannondale has a tiagra 9 speed groupset and mavic cxp23 wheels with 32 spokes - not exactly aerodynamic. I have two wheelsets for the cube. One is fulcrum racing 5s with a 10 speed cassette and the other is eastons which came with the cube which also have a 10 speed cassette. I am not wanting to shell out a lot of money but I have been considering setting up the dawes as a time trial bike. I know that if I wanted to change from down tube to bar end shifters I'd probably need to swap the rear deraileur to shimano something. I could probably make do with the single 52 ring at the front instead of a double chainset. I would need to buy a set of wheels, bars, brake levers and a forward set seatpost and saddle for it however and I am not very technically confident. Does anyone have any advice for me? Do you think I would be better just sticking with the cube and aerobars and putting the saddle forward?
