As in the title would it be possible to fit a 10 spd crankset on a 9 spd cassette. Also would the difference between sora and a crank like this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=39017 be drastic or almost not noticeable. Does anyone know the sora crankset weight?

Thanks a lot!!

you'd notice a difference in weight if you held them in each hand - thing is most of us get light stuff for the bike then rid eout with heavy bottles of water, tools, wheels etc. but yes you will notice a difference

I changed from 9 speed to 10 over time and used a 10 speed tiagra crank with a 9 speed 105 cassette and had no issues - used a 9 speed chain though, and only got a 10 speed chain when I got a 10 speed ultegra cassette
