RLT vs RCT3

Hi all,
I am about to buy forks for my 2nd hand Five.
I am set on Revelations, but I am dithering on the choice between the above.
They will be my first ever air forks (actually only my 2nd set of suspension forks). My only experience of a bouncy front end has been tora sl's on my Rockhopper.
Next month I will be able to buy the RLTs outright or I could buy the RCT3s on finance now.
The question is - Will a newbie be able to tell the difference between the 2, and if the answer is yes, is it worth the extra?
Cheers,
Si

RCT3 has a separate high speed damper - if you are hitting stuff hard, it will be noticeable ie will be more controlled.0

Cheers Sonic,
Whether or not my riding can be classified as hardhitting remains to be seen . . .
I have made the decision to go for the RCT3s.
Thanks for the advice,
