    yes, I noticed that bit!

I suppose it was in return for us playing the Dambusters theme.

And I wonder if any of the Japanese there noticed "Enola Gay"?

It was, what looked like a German delegate welcoming the Olympic squad with a kind of wave, the kind of 'wave' that was made illegal in Germany and can lead to imprisonment.

That would've been great. I was watching the opening ceremony with my English mate just waiting..begging.. for the "Germans / war" bit. Harry in his party outfit parachuting out of a plane instead of his granny. Alas, they dwelled on WW I. Actually glad they didn't, though

as my old dad always says when we lose to them on penalties in the footy "never mind son, they may always but us at our favourite game but we always beat them at theirs". The older generation, don'tcha just love 'em!
