Any recommendations for touring SPD winter boots? Want to be able to walk in the snow/ice so sole can't be SPD-SL road shoes. Specialized BG Defroster have road type sole with knobblies, but it looks very stiff, I think sole should offer flex to give feeling when walking on slippery ground.

Warmth priority, waterproof

Shimano MW80 - got some and after 2 punctures in one commute last Winter (sub-zero!) and a 6 mile walk home down country lanes I can heartedly recommend them for walking in.

Fully waterproof and pretty damn warm

You MUST try them on as they are tight fitting and you will need to go up a shoe size to get the right size

I've got Spesh Defrosters and can walk around no problem in them, not done any treks, but never had a problem pushing the MTB or walking in and out of the office.
