Havin had nitemare of reviews n researchin new bike, i finally settled on
Strive, was a gamble considering ltd reviews but wat little i read was always
good n always went on about climbin n pedalling ease. Anyway enuff, wat a
bike n i mean a surefooted quality feelin sturdy steed which climbs and pedals
almost unbelievably easy. Let me state, i hate climbin, really pees me off.
But no shite ive actually enjoyed 2 climbs this week at whites level. Goin down
is just as impressive, has the sure feelin of my 07
Nomad, n mashed rock sections n felt like it cud
really munch anything. Straight of the box it has been
beast. Downsides? Maybe slightly low bb which scraped
odd pedal on rocky climbs, but i cant give it less than
9.5/10. P.S. im 5'7-5'8 n small is perfect, big small too,
wud be mint for 5'9'ers also. Fair play to herr flick...

Just to add running 2.4 +2.25 ardents which seems ok, mite try diff front at some point.
Last bike was 916 09 xt float at 30.8 lbs, strive seems heavier but prob reverb post , which
1lb but must say this is a must for serious bikers.period. cud never go back. Anywa
strive feels a league above all round over spicy. Spicy def need rp23, wat a shock.
Must be this matched with strive sheer frame stiffness that makes it top drawer.0 -
Nice bike but shame about your awful English, makes it difficult to read for anyone who has English as a first language.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Everyone else on this forum can manage something close to English.
Your post is the sort of half arsed English you would expect from a twelve year old.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Having had a nightmare reading reviews and researching a new bike, i finally settled on a Strive. It was a gamble considering the limited reviews available but the little reviews i read were always good and went on about the climbing prowess and pedalling ease.
Anyway, what a bike, and i mean a surefooted quality feeling sturdy steed which climbs and pedals almost unbelievably easy.
Let me state. I hate climbing, it really annoys me, but i have actually enjoyed the two climbs this week at Whites Level. Going down it is just as impressive. It has the sure feeling of my 07 Nomad. It mashed rock sections and felt like it could really munch anything. Straight of the box it has been a beast.
Downsides? Maybe a slightly low bottom bracket which scraped the odd pedal on rocky climbs, but i cant give it less than 9.5/10.
P.S. im 5'7-5'8 and a small is perfect, it is a big small too. It would be mint for 5'9'ers.

All in your pants up late tonight lads on the computer,
pretending to be 14yr olds?? Cos few of you really
sound like the types, especially the original bell end.
Anyway its been a pleasure meeting Nerdville...

That's just not nice now is it. If you want to be childish go play in the crudcatcher, you'll have fun in there. Aside from that it's a lot easier to follow something if it's not full of a random assortment of abbreviations, like someone said you talk like a 12 year old.
Anyway I take it you like the bike, from what I've heard from owners they're fairly decent, not that anyone would really complain about the performance of their bike after spending a couple of grand. If I had any money I'd be tempted to get one though. Any chance of some pictures. Maybe a few with you in too, perhaps washing the bike so you're a bit wetRockmonkeySC wrote:Nice bike but shame about your awful English, makes it difficult to read for anyone who has English as a first language.
