Not quite overdone - IMHO drive side crank should point down in line with seat tube.

Other than that - love the bike.

I was looking at Centaur groupset for my Allez yesterday as Shimano components really are high priced at the moment.
Its giving me inspiration for winter time upgrading!

( btw ditch dropbox as image store, it's not very good!)

Do it! I was in the same boat and for the same money could only get 105, and the Centuar is much better IMO- very quiet, very rapid shifts and I like the feel of the hoods, they feel like they were moulded for my hands... And it dropped almost 1.5kg off the bike!

Looks superb. Have you seen the Limited edition allez S-works in the 2013 line up?

apparently they're only doing a run of 50 at ~$6500 each!

Is the Centaur kit much of an improvement over the 2300?

I have an Allez 24 with 2300 and I am bit of a noob to road components so completely unfamiliar with Campag gear - never used anything other than Shim or Sram.
