Hi I'm new to the furom, I've been riding bikes for as long as I can remember however now I'm getting into mountain biking and street riding (jump bike ). I am soon gonna get an all suspension bike I quite like some of the cube bikes. And I am going to start a build on a custom jump bike as well . I would just like some advice on what wheels to put on my jump bike as I am new to building bikes. Also I am from Manchester and I am looking for somewhere to ride if anyone knows of any places I have been lee quarry but that is quite a distance but that place is just wow
Thanks
Thanks

Hey welcome to the community!
Take a look at the rims here: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=73610. My friend had a green set on his custom build and they looked and rode great. Pretty damn wide at 30mm but i've seen wider. They are seriously strong and a good price just a little on the heavier side of rims but that shouldn't matter too much.0 -
thanks mate what hubs and spokes does your freind have and could you advise any lighter rims hubs spokes etc0

He used these hubs: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=38226
Really cheap and are seriously good. You don't need the Deore/SLX/XT ones, these run soo smooth. You can't argue for sub £15 with the quality you get. Again with more cash you could save weight, just depends on how much you are willing to spend. Im not entirely sure which spokes he used, he just rang CRC and asked them and they gave him the details as he built them himself.0
