New Bike or Carbon wheelset?? Help..

Hi,
I'm in a dillema, i am currently in my 3rd Tri season, and have now started doing 70.3's. What i would like is to improve my bike and was looking at upgrading or Px my Trek 2.3 for a Madone or just upgrade my wheelset for some carbon wheels.
I would like to know what some people think is best option, as i like the spec on my bike other than wheels?
any ideas/help would be appreciated.
