My RS Recon SL Solo Air fork requires a service so I'm looking for a seal kit but am having trouble identifying exactly which fork variation I have. It came standard on my 2010 Scott Scale 50. The fork is marked as a RockShox Recon SL Solo According to the serial number 47T90051201 it's a 2009 model year?

I've seen seal kits say they are not for the power bulge version of the Recon. How can I tell if I have a power bulge? Also, many seal kits specify for Recon XC and don't mention SL. Are they the same as far as seals go?

I cannot seem to find the seal / service kit for the Recon 2009 model year only 2010 onwards. Was their any difference between the two years? According to the RS parts manual I think I need kit 11.4014.445.0000 but again it only mentions the Recon XC version and 2010 model year.

I found this 'Recon Solo Air/Turnkey/MoCo Service Kit' on TFTuned's site (half way down the page) or this one from Germany which looks much more comprehensive. Do they look correct?

About 10cm down the lower leg there should be a 4cm long bulge.

OK thanks. Yes it appears they do.

So now I need to know is if there any difference between 2009 and 2010 and the XC vs SL in terms of seals? I am assuming not as there seems to be a lack of SL mentioned and a lot of the seal kits don't even mention the year.

Never mind. I finally managed to dig up an old 2009 Rockshox part catalogue. Don't know why Sram don't list of all their old catalogues for download. Any way it appears the service kit part number is 11.4015.006.000 in case any one is interested.
