Hi iam thinking about buying a scalpel for genral trial centre riding obviously no down hill but was wondering if anyone out there uses one for it and how they fine 80mm rear travel copes thanks

Do you really want a pure race bike for trail riding? It will be very twitchy and uncomfortable. Certainly won't be as confidence inspiring as a proper trail bike.
