The Rutland Water Family Bike Ride
Date: Sunday 23rd September
Distance: 17 or 23 miles
Choose from 2 stunning routes. The 17 mile family route is ideal for all of the family and consists of 1 full circuit of the stunning reservoir. The 23 mile route is slightly more challenging and for the more advanced cyclist. It follows the same route but in addition you will cycle through the middle of reservoir taking in the stunning views from the peninsula. The terrain is slightly more challenging so not suitable for under 14’s.
The route will be fully sign posted and TAAS marshals will be there to cheer you on throughout
Toilets, refreshments and first aid cover will be available on route
Rutland Cycling will be offering a break down recovery service for anyone who might experience difficulties. Rutland Cycling will be providing bike, children’s buggies and helmet hire for an additional cost on the day. All you need to do is turn up with the whole family and enjoy yourself by supporting your local air ambulance
All we ask is that you have as much fun as possible and raise sponsorship to support our vital lifesaving work in your community. The highest fundraiser will receive a bike kindly donated by Rutland Cycling
Registration opens at 8.15am
Registration closes at 10.30am
Starts times are 9.00am for the 23 mile route and 9.30 for the 17 mile route
Prices: Adults £10
Under 16's (Must be accompanied by an adult) £5
