Cycling has always been my main form of exercise. Used to do some gym work when racing though. 20-30 miles on a bike each day, plus weekend riding is enough really.
I am going back to the gym once the brand new facility opens locally later in August - £20 per month for Gym only - that suits me. Prime reason is to increase core endurance strength - mainly to combat a shoulder injury I sustained in a car vs bike accident 3 years ago. Hope is to build strength back up now it's recovered, but not looking at bulk. This should improve my climbing on very steep hills (15% plus) as my shoulder tires quickly.
Cycling is a great way to drop the weight though.0
