Suitable Groupset for Trance?

Looking at this http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/mtb-parts/transmission-gears/groupsets-mtb/shimano-slx-10-speed-transmission-groupset.html from Merlin, would everything fit an 09 Trance? I think the Trance needs a top pull front mech but I think this is dual pull so it won't matter, am I correct?

Probably going to go for. SLX brakes from Rose bikes too unless anyone has any other suggestions for around £150 ish for both ends?

    I went for the 9 speed double & bash + 2 x 9 specific front mech & GS (medium cage) rear mech. I also changed to SLX shifters & cassette.

    As smooth as...

    Mine's a '10 Trance X4 (although the only things original now are the saddle, brakes & frame).

    It will all fit. I had the same groupset on my Trance.

    Just what I wanted to hear :D they're not upgrades or anything as I've only got a frame at the moment.
