Unfortunately Roger didn't make the end and withdrew when the record was off, understandably as he'd previously done a "24" so no value in further agony! How did your chap with just his wife supporting him get on?

Sorry to hear Roger had a tough time of it - but big hand for even doing it, let alone deciding to do another!! (I find a 25 mile TT hard going...!)

Our guy, Greg, faired well; he got 5th overall and stretched the club record from 417 to over 462 miles, so he's pretty chuffed. I think the record had stood since 1989, though not sure whether it stayed for so long because no-one dared try and attempt a 24?!

He does seem to have been properly buggered by the whole thing though - I think he's pulled muscles in all sorts of places across his shoulders and top of his arms.
