Shoe widths

This may sound a very silly question but I have just purchased a new bike with LOOK KEO classic road pedals and cleats. Took the bike out for the first time last night and my Shimano shoes (not sure on model but very old) are rubbing against the crank. Does anyone know if slimmer shoes are available or could the cleats be in the wrong position. Not sure if it makes any difference but the crank is the SRAM Red
Thanks in anticipation

I'm no expert, myself going out on my first ride with cleats on a new bike yesterday, but it sounds like you have your cleats in the wrong position.. I have "wide" fit shoes and mine don't touch. My advice would be take a screwdriver and keep adjusting them until they feel more comfortable. Everyone has a unique angle that will suit them.0

Try putting the cleats closer to the inside (instep) of the shoe, this will effectively push the shoe away from the crank arms.Yellow is the new Black.0

Thanks for the advice, will adjust the cleats tonight and hopefully will solve the problem
