Hi which is the best type of rotor. Or does it depend on the size instead of the shape

    They make little difference in braking power.

    Some are lighter some may get rid of heat better some may wear out pads quicker than others.

    But what are you really wanting to know?

    It just my front is a little bent and was going to get a new one but there is alot to choose from

    Errr no, wavey or saw shaped ones are pretty much identical in performance, so you're wrong.

    Nope, applies to discs and wheels as well, not to mention bearing races......
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Round wheels are right up there with 29ers for me.
