i'm thinking of getting a giant stp frame and building it up, my question is i'm 6ft 2 would the large frame be better for me i'd like to use it mainly for aggressive cross country trials, dropping a few downhill style routes etc does anyone else use thiers for this style or is it really only good in parks dirt jumps etc... cheers

It's a dirt jump bike so it's useless for cross country, you won't get the saddle high enough. Great for 4x & DH though.
Have a look at the Ragley Blue Pig or Troof or the On-One Summer Season.
I'm 6'1" and use an 18" On-One Summer Season for downhill, freeride & cross country.

my mate had a long and was 6ft max, didnt seem to drown on it but I thought he should have gone small

i'm 6'4 and did not really like the set up, but that is stem and bar and pedals........

I run a mc rumble (long top tube) with a very different head angle compared to most bikes.... so prob not the best to answer this
  • ok cheers, i will try looking at something a bit different...
