hi can lock on grips be used with twist grip gears , i curently have 110mm slide on grips on my bike is this the length of most lock on grips .

I think you can buy lock ons designed specifically for grip shift, i guess they're just shorter than standard ones. But i don't see why you couldn't use normal ones as long as you have enough space on your bars.My Nukeproof Mega

so I have big hands and lok-ons are slightly different size
standard is around 130mm - 135mm
most lok-on are a total of 135mm, so the grip is really 115mm or so (10mm each side for coller)
best and biggest I have seen are

they are bmx grips, so the rubber is a bit soft, and if you have gear shifters they can get in the way........0 -
It varies, but you'd need to find single lockring grips or the inner lockring would shred your hands.I don't do smileys.

i got them from CRC but it appears they don't do them now.
A trawl through the interweb my find a UK source.
I cut off the lugs on the inside so only use the outer lockring as cooldad suggests. Works fine.Cotic Soul 26 inch. Whyte T1300 -
