Hi,
Can someone please explain to me what hydraulic dampening is on marzocchi dj 3's ? What does "fix r" mean? Is the mech preload the one where there is a twisty thing on top of the fork stanchion ? And are they okay forks ? I know a lot of questions .

Getting them on a NS Metropolis 2 2012 from chainreactioncycles .
Cheers for the help

Hydraulic damping is oil base motion control of the fork.

    Fix r is fixed rebound.

    The adjuster adds preload.

They do what they are meant to do but stack it bad and anything can break.

You should get a manual with the bike.

    Err air is a spring.

All forks with good damping use oil.
