Team Sky I and Team Sky II?
With regards to Cavendish leaving Team Sky (or not) post-Olympics, a thought just occurred to me...
Is it at all feasible for Sky to field a second team, one which is operationally independent from the first, formed around Cavendish? The first team is a GC team, the second team a sprint team.
From a funding perspective, I imagine B-Sky-B haven't had a terrible return on their sponsorship investment, and with 2 teams they could further monopolise exposure at the Tour et al.
From a legal perspective, what would have to happen for the UCI to allow such a scenario?
While certainly unlikely, is there even a remote chance of this happening?

Building two teams really would be taking the you-know-what out of pro cycling. SKY happen to have found a good balance with two of Britain's best ever cyclists. There's really no need to hoover up more domestiques and bludgeon all of the fun out of the sport.0
