Hey guys, the material on my saddle is starting to come off from the center. It has a cutaway.
oh my saddle is a sella italia slr team edition. is it worth fixing it or sending it back to selle to fix? how would you guys go about fixing it? superglu? gluegun? it cost a fair bit when i bought it so would be a shame if it went to the bin.

How old is your saddle?
Perhaps some superglue may do the trick, but if its well used its going to wear out eventually,
and if its newish, i'm sure you could complain to who you bought it from0 -
I'd superglue it if it's somewhere on the saddle with no contact with rider, otherwise it might chafe/rub or be a bit sharp.
Or replace it...0 -
Selle wont do anything I tried this with a damaged saddle.
If it is in good condition use contact adhesive I re did min ein leather I bought off internet cheaply and used tubular adhesive it worked a treat and saved me chucking a £140 saddle.

I have a Selle Italia saddle aswell, first road saddle I've had so far that I actually find genuinely comfortable. Unfortunately the material hasn't lasted very long on mine either, think I might have to have a go at the above.0
