As title really.

My old trusty M220 SPD shoes are nearly worn through after nearly 15 years solid use !

Looking for suitable replacements and not sure what to go for.
Features I like are the very stiff carbon sole and easy and secure Velcro straps.
Don't want to be faffing with laces or potentially weak spring clips etc.

Any opinions on what to consider - up to £150

Ta :)

  • id seriously recommend the M183 very stiff! i came from an older pair of M180 and couldnt beleive the difference.
on-one and crc had some good deals on them and the M235 both in the budget!

I would have a look at the Mavic range. I have the pulse which are around £70-80 and they are very very good. Well made and look good IMO they have a few more expensive ones which are probably stiffer with a carbon sole.
