which frame/bike?

Hi all, im.getting back into riding again after a few years out. With all the new bikes and bits out im not sure which type of bike/frame i need . Im after a hard tail really , the type of rinding is xc but I want sumthing i can get down the trails anf have some fun with , any thorts?

cheaper the better, about 200 for the frame and bike id say 600

Only two choices worth considering at this price are Voodoo or Rockrider.
Custom build for £600 just isn't worth bothering with.
