Any one fancy coming to morzine for two weeks downhilling?
The guy I'm going with has had a couple of people drop out, so there are spaces up for grabs.
The dates are the 11th until the 25th of August. It's a decent sized place, right between the Pleney and Supermorzine lifts. £420 covers fuel, ferry, tolls, liftpass and apartment for a full fortnight. All you need to do is cover your food and drink and spending money.
The riding will be mainly downhill and freeride, but there are options for all other types of riding in the area. Plenty of other activities as well, such as parapenting, rafting, climbing and so on.
There are plenty of options to eat out, but it's expensive, so the cheapest way is cook everything in the chalet. Easily under 5 euros a day for a decent amount of food if everything is bought in bulk.
The guy who is driving (Tavy) has been to the alps for the last 6 years and has spent a season Portes Du Soleil, so he knows all of the best trails, routes, lifts etc. Also there are two mechanics going, so between everyone we should have enough tools and expertise to fix most things.
It will be a chilled out trip with lots of riding, eating and lounging about in the sun. As long as you love riding and are up for a laugh you will have a great time!
Send me a pm if you are interested.
Cheers,
Jules
