What is your budget? How are the Toras letting you down? Air is lighter and more adjustable, but can be less smooth.0

Hi they keep bottoming out and have no preload adjust . also the rebound seems to quick even fully adjusted0

Hi I may be able to stretch to 250 maybe 300 if its really good0

I'd have a look at the Rockshox Sektor and Revelation, preferably the latter, and if the former, the RL version. You need a standard quick release fork.0

any good cheap places to get them from0

Merlin cycles and OnOne worth a look.0

Hi someone has said I may be able to convert these forks to air . Would this be worth doing. How much and where could I get the parts from regards Neil0

Sorry tora 289 uturn coil to air is this possible0

It's possible but not worth it. It will be a lot of cash to end up with a poor air fork. Just because its air doesn't make it better, you will still have the rebound problem and no compression damping.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
